lyrics

When I was 119 in dog-years, I thought I fell in love.
She had those willowy-eyes, she could laugh when she tried;
And had a face like a tourist-attraction.

And I tried so hard to drink black-coffee,
Just to take the taste away.
But I had to go back to drinking mochaccino,
When she said she couldn’t stay.

When I was 110 in cat-years, I broke somebody’s heart;
Tore the fabric of my adolescence,
Ripped my experience apart.

And maybe I’m just foolish, perhaps I’m just naïve,
But my heart’s begun to ache,
Since it’s been worn on my sleeve.
